Having been inspired by the Hollywood movie Lover come back’, Zoom is a tale of two professionals who fall in love despite their jobs at rival advertising companies. The heroine believes in hard work and sincerity to achieve success while the hero believes in finding short cuts to achieve success. At a point, Ganesh obtains a contract by faking the movie revolves around the situation with the hero and heroine trapped in a love triangle. The major attraction to the movie is the music which is done by S. Thaman.
Zoom will be the first Karnataka movie to be translated into international languages such as French, Malay and Korea. The reason behind the dubbing will be to ensure that Zoom is filmed in an international level to get the countries to watch romantic Karnataka movies.

The romantic comedy was mutually produced by Hari Prasad and Naveen. The supporting casts for the movie are Dev Gil, Kashinath and Sadhu Kokila. The editing has been done by Ravichadran while Santhosh Rai Pathaje has done the cinematography.

However, regardless of the negative reviews, Zoom received the biggest Ganesh film opening because of the prior publicity and marketing. Zoom was also the first Kannada movie to be releases in Chennai, Mumbai, Pune, Kerala and worldwide on the same day of a Karnataka release.
